YS Jagan seem to be making the same mistake again and again which should be avoided for any party to sustain for a period of five years after an election defeat. YSR Congress had announced the Political Affairs committee and Central administrative committee and these committees looked more like a family affair neglecting the loyalists who stayed with the party in thick and thin.
Jagan’s relatives, YV Subba Reddy and Anil Reddy were appointed in crucial position. Konathala Rama Krishna who was one of the first members to join YSR Congress was demoted from the Convenor position of Political Affairs Committee to just a member. Konathala stayed with the party even when Jagan allowed his arch rival Dhadi Veera Bhadra Rao in to the party. After elections, Dhadi deserted YSR Congress making some serious allegations. Leaving out Konathala has sent serious wrong signals to the party loyalists.
