Andhra Pradesh government has the history of taking the Godavari Pushkaralu very prestigious. Barring an unfortunate incident in 2015, Chandrababu had historically held the Pushkaralu very well.
Now it appears that chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is going to be ably supported by Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, who is on the ground.
In his elaborate interaction with government officials and concerned authorities regarding the upcoming Pushkaralu(2027), Pawan Kalyan was very straightforward with his words.
The deputy CM asked the authority is not to look up towards CM Babu, all the time and asked them to be proactive with their own works. He asked the concerned ministers also to be very active with their job positions.
The deputy CM said there are still nine months to go for the upcoming Pushkaralu, but 3 to 4 months will be elaborated due to the monsoon and flu season, so there is only six months of working period left.
This was followed by another strong comment regarding the purity of Godavari Waters as zero budget has been allocated for purification. He said 45MLD water quality will give diseases to people who bathe in Godavari river and called for cleaning activities.
With the deputy CM being so concerned on this topic, it appears that chief minister Chandrababu will have a bit of the burden taken off his shoulder this time. With PK being a strong Sanatana Dharma promoter as well, he has a spiritual aspect associated with this too.
