Telangana BJP held a massive public meeting at LB Stadium in Hyderabad today and it had the prime minister Narendra Modi in attendance. JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan was a special invitee for the same.
With BJP and JSP in alliance in Telangana, everyone expected Pawan to be critical about the KCR government in his speech today but that wasn’t to be.
Pawan barely made a statement about KCR in his entire speech today. The only he reference he made was “They(KCR) promised to fight for projects, independent governance, and acumen, but I see neither today”.
Pawan kept his speech entirely around Modi as he tried to publicize as if Modi would be the next chief minister of Telangana. He claimed that India saw 3 decades’ worth of development in just 1 decade in the Modi regime. He referred to Modi as his brother.
Another surprising element is that Pawan read almost all of his speech from a paper. He usually keeps it spontaneous with his speeches but that wasn’t to be today. He had no aggression either like we are used to seeing him in his speeches in AP. The public turnout wasn’t that great either, despite this being a PM meeting.
The JSP chief attributed the Chandrayan 3 success and the smashing success of UPI to Modi. His speech was entirely dedicated to appeasing the BJP top brass and at the same time, he didn’t have many words against KCR.
