Janasena President Pawan Kalyan is in Kakinada reviewing the party’s condition in the Erstwhile East Godavari district. This is one district where Janasena is strong and is expected to contest more number of seats than in any other district.
On the first day afternoon, Pawan Kalyan concentrated fully on the Kakinada City constituency reviewing the party condition. The review meeting continued for the entire day on Friday and is happening today as well.
He spoke to the local leaders of twenty divisions in the constituency.
He was upset with the constituency in-charge and Kakinada City President for not appointing the Ward-level committees of the party.
There is a discussion in the party that Pawan Kalyan is concentrating so much on the constituency as he may be contesting from there in 2024.
However, the party President did not make any such announcement to the leaders.
Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy is the YSR Congress MLA of Kakinada City.
Janasena President Pawan Kalyan previously targeted Dwarampudi’s corruption big time.
Dwarampudi responded to that in filthy language and did not even spare Pawan Kalyan’s family in the abuses. As a result, the Kapu community in his constituency has turned opposition to Dwarampudi.
Dwarampudi, back then, announced that he would defeat Pawan Kalyan if he contested from any constituency in East Godavari.
According to Survey Reports, Dwarampudi became weak in the constituency for abusing him and also because of the murder of a Dalit driver by the YSR Congress MLC Anantha Babu.
Probably, Pawan Kalyan believes that contesting in such a constituency will charge Janasainiks and also the Kapu community and that would impact the prospects of the TDP – Janasena candidates in the entire district.
Along with Kakinada City, Pitapuram, Bhimavaram, and Tirupati are the rumored constituencies from which Pawan Kalyan may contest.
