The police visited the residence of Kakani in Nellore and issued notices to the YSRCP leader and former minister. The action followed multiple complaints filed by leaders of the ruling party.
TDP leaders alleged that Kakani used offensive language while speaking about N. Chandrababu Naidu and Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy. Based on these complaints, cases were registered in different police stations.
Cases were filed in Nellore Rural, Podalakuru, and Manubolu police stations. Following this, the police issued official notices to Kakani as part of the legal process.
There has been an ongoing war of words between TDP and YSRCP leaders in the state. The ruling party accused YSRCP of trying to provoke people using caste based narratives and false claims.
TDP leaders also warned the public not to believe YSRCP’s statements regarding the Tirumala adulterated ghee issue. They alleged that YSRCP leaders were attempting to disturb peace in the state.
To maintain law and order, police are issuing notices to several YSRCP leaders. This includes those making derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister, Nara Lokesh, and other TDP leaders.
