Political overtones mark Rudramadevi Audio Event

kadiyam srihari and talasani at rudramadevi audio launchKakatiya Queen ‘Rudramadevi’s history is synonymous to the political developments in Telangana region during the 13th century. She was popular for her good governance and strategical move towards the armed rebellion from vassals who didn’t accept the reign of a female. In one way, Guna Sekhar’s ‘Rudramadevi’ audio launch is implicitly showing the political overtones.

In the first part of the audio launch held in Vizag, big political leaders like Ayyanna Paatrudu and Ganta graced the event. For the second part being held in Warangal, Telangana region political leaders of Warangal region Konda couple aka Konda Surekha and Konda Murali graced the event as the special guests for the occasion.

Besides Warangal MLA Surekha, Kadiyam Sri Hari (Deputy CM), Talasani Srinivas Yadav (Cinematography Minister) also graced the event and released songs. Quite interestingly, instead of bigwigs from the film industry, producer cum director Guna Sekhar seems to have concentrated on political bigwigs. Quite thoughful indeed!
