Posani Krishna Murali is once again in the spotlight, this time through cinema. During the five years of Jagan’s Government, he often attacked Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan with harsh words. He even dragged Pawan’s daughters into controversies.
In February this year, Rajampet Police arrested Posani. He faced multiple cases and spent around 20 days in jail. Cases were filed across Guntur, Kurnool, Vijayawada, and Narasaraopeta Police Stations. Afterward, he announced that he was quitting politics altogether.
Following YSRCP’s defeat in 2024, Posani launched a political satire show on Sakshi TV but discontinued it soon. Acting offers also fell, leaving him sidelined from the industry. Reports suggest there is an unofficial ban against him in Telugu cinema.
Now, he is preparing to direct a film titled Operation Aruna Reddy, based on a journalist’s life. The film launch will happen soon, but shooting is planned outside Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to avoid fresh troubles. Posani is also writing the script himself.
The film’s lead belongs to the Reddy community, sparking speculation that Posani is indirectly serving YSRCP once again. Political satires and subtle references may appear in the story. Posani denies this, but many believe the movie may support YSR Congress.
