In less than 24 hours of Telangana Minister Harish Rao’s warning of power cut for AP Chief Minister’s office and Assembly, Power cuts struck Andhra Pradesh Assembly when the session is going on this morning. Usually, State Assemblies have uninterrupted power supply. But AP Assembly could not avert them due to the state bifurcation problems.

As a part of bifurcation agreement, the old Assembly building was given to Andhra Pradesh for conducting the Assembly. The old building has lack of proper facilities to accomodate the house. Even the fans are not working properly. On the other side, Chandra Babu had ordered for immediate repairs to the Assembly and also asked officials to ensure uninterrupted power during the sessions.
