The images have sparked discussions about the advice Radhakrishna once gave Harish Rao. Political circles recall his column where he urged Harish to break away from BRS and form his own party.
Speculation about Harish Rao being sidelined by KCR and KTR has existed since the TRS (now BRS) came to power. The talk grew stronger after the party’s 2023 defeat. Radhakrishna even repeated his suggestion in a 2025 column.
He had written that Harish Rao’s hardworking nature and simplicity could help him build an independent political base. Despite his popularity and loyal following within BRS, Harish Rao has not yet acted on that advice.
However, with BRS’s current challenges and KCR’s declining health, political observers believe new developments cannot be ruled out.
