Leader of opposition and AICC top leader Rahul Gandhi will fly to Hyderabad to watch Lionel Messi in action. Congress sources have confirmed his visit. Messi will arrive in India as part of the Messi G.O.A.T India Tour 2025.
He is expected to land in Hyderabad at 4 pm and attend an event at Falaknuma Palace. Later, a Messi event will take place at Uppal Stadium. A friendly match is also planned between Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Messi.
Revanth Reddy had travelled to Delhi to invite Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi for the event. Rahul Gandhi is said to have agreed and will attend the programme.
In the past, when Rahul Gandhi was asked to choose between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, he said Messi was the better footballer. He added that he would pick Messi if he were running a football team.
