Railway Budget

The Railway Budget brought good news to Telugu states. The Center has decided to allot 200 Vande Bharat and 100 Namo Bharat trains to Andhra Pradesh.

The Budget allocated Rs 9,147 crore to Andhra Pradesh while it gave Rs 5337 crore to Telangana. It has been decided to run Namo Bharat trains between Vijayawada and Hyderabad.

The government announced that one can travel upto 1000 km at a nominal price of Rs 450.

The Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that they are planning to bring 100 Amrut Bharat trains soon.

Till date, Rs 41,677 crore has been allocated to Telangana, the Minister shared. Soon, Telangana will have Namo Bharat and Amrut Bharat rails, he added.

In AP, Rs 84,559 crore works were underway, the Minister revealed. They were developing 74 railway stations, the union minister said. 1560 km railway lines were laid in the state, he revealed.

AP CM Chandrababu hailed the allotments, both in union budget and railway budget.




It is government’s initiative to connect India with fast and upgraded trains maintaining international standards.
