Pressure is mounting on Telangana Speaker, Madhusudhanachari to take action on Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s resignation or defection petition. Talasani was elected from Sanathnagar on TDP ticket and is currently in KCR’s cabinet as a minister. Speaker is helping him indirectly by keeping his resignation and defection petition in pending.

TDP MLA, Maganti Gopinath recently approached the President, Prime Minister, Union Home Ministry, Election Commission and Governor over the issue with necessary proofs. The President of India has sent the letter to Union Home Secretary to check the background and initiate necessary action. This will mean that Speaker can act any time before center initiates action.
Last week we know that the governor, ESL Narasimha also asked the Chief Secretary of Telangana to look in to the issue and take necessary action. With these event, the issue will trouble the government in assembly when it resumes from Tuesday.
