BARC released the News Channels ratings for Week 35. In the ‘All 15+’ category for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, there are no changes in the top 10 rankings.
NTV continues to be at the top and is followed by TV9.
Coming next is V6 in third position, TV5 in fourth, ABN in fifth, T News in sixth, 10 TV in seventh, and Sakshi in eighth.
TV5 and ABN are perceived to be Pro-TDP channels. They are in fourth and fifth places while YSR Congress mouthpiece, Sakshi is in Eighth position.
The Actual Ratings of TV5 and ABN should be more than what they have now. That is because the Andhra Pradesh Government had imposed an unofficial ban on these channels in many areas of the state. So, the actual numbers should be much higher.
Sakshi’s ratings should be correct for obvious reasons.
Usually, political analysts ascertain the mood of the public in elections by the news they consume. YSR Congress should be worried about Sakshi’s decline.
Even though Sakshi could not impress the people, YSRCP leaning channels – TV9 and NTV are at the top helping the Ruling Party.
