
The Reliance Consumer Products, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, is all set to open its carbonated drinks, soft drinks and packaged water unit in Kurnool’s Orvakallu.
The AP government has directed that each acre of land allotted be given for Rs 30 lakh. In total, 80 acres will be given to Reliance in two phases.

The payments will be made in tailor-made mode. The government has directed that steps be taken for laying the foundation by June 15, 2026.
It has also directed the officials to ensure that the commercial production starts in December of 2026. Reliance has already tied up with the AP government to invest Rs 1622 crore in the project.

The unit is likely to provide direct and indirect jobs to 5,200 people in two phases. The unit is expected to generate an annual business of Rs 2000 crore, adding Rs 500 crore to the state exchequer in GST revenues.
Reliance has already invested Rs 65,000 crore to set up 500 compressed biogas (CBG) units across the state.
