B. Tech Ravi is arguably one of the most important MLA candidates for TDP in all of Andhra Pradesh. He is the man who takes on YCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy in the latter’s bastion, Pulivendula.
Incidentally, Ravi was arrested in a cinematic set-up last night while he was going from Pulivendula to Kadapa. His mobile phone and also those belonging to his followers were switched off. Worried family members the found out that they were arrested by AP police in a case that was filed 10 months ago.

On January 25 this year, Nara Lokesh reached Kadapa Airport to resume the Yuvagalam Yatra. Ravi and his associates reached the airport to welcome Lokesh. In the process, he was stopped by the police from entering the terminal. A small argument was raised between Ravi and the police.
After 10 odd months, the police filed a case and took Ravi into custody. He was sent to the general hospital for medical tests and later sent to Kadapa Central Prison. He is on a two-week remand now.

The police stated that the ASI was injured in the clash between Ravi and the police back in January. And 10 months later, the TDP leader has been arrested now.
