Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was the Chief Guest at Kamma Global Federation’s meeting in Hyderabad.
Revanth Reddy praised the hardworking nature of the community and also made some veiled comments about the BRS leaders.
“There are leaders of all the parties today. But they exist because of the opportunities given by NT Ramarao. Some of the leaders remember that and want the name of NTR to be remembered forever. And there are some leaders who got an opportunity because of NTR but talk ill about him. It is not the mistake of NTR. It is the wisdom of those leaders,” Revanth Reddy said taking indirect potshots at KCR and KTR.
He also acknowledged Chandrababu’s arrest playing a crucial role in the Telangana Assembly elections.
“In a democracy, protest is the basic right of the citizens. Telangana youth protested at the White House as well during the Agitation days. When people in Telangana wanted to protest, some people tried to deal with them with iron fist. That led to their downfall on December 3rd, 2023 (Telangana Assembly Results Day,” Revanth Reddy said.
Revanth Reddy did not mention the name of Chandrababu or KCR but clearly delivered the message.
During the Previous BRS regime, the Kamma Sangham was allotted five acres of land but then, it got embroiled in legal issues.
“They acted like they gave but the legal litigations followed. I promise to solve all the legal tussles very soon and ensure the completion of the Kamma Sangam Building there. I believe the community will help the Government to uplift the poor in Kamma community along with the backward sections in Telangana,” Revanth Reddy announced.
