Revanth Reddy launched a sharp attack on the BJP and BRS while campaigning in Karimnagar. He was addressing the public as part of the ongoing municipal election campaign. His comments quickly triggered political debate.
Revanth Reddy alleged that the BJP was collecting protection money from the BRS. He claimed this arrangement ensured that BRS leaders were not arrested. According to him, both parties had a tacit understanding.
The Chief Minister said the BJP and BRS were working together against the Congress in the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation. He alleged that this alliance was clearly visible on the ground. He warned that such politics would influence public opinion.
Revanth Reddy further stated that if the BJP was truly fair, the CBI should arrest Harish Rao and KCR in the Kaleswaram scam case. He also said the BJP should seek votes in Telangana only after arresting KTR in the Formula e-Racing case.
Targeting BJP leadership, the CM accused the party of indulging in fevicol-glue politics. He said Telangana citizens were closely watching these political moves. His remarks drew loud reactions from the crowd.
Revanth Reddy also took a swipe at BJP president Nitin Nabin. He claimed that if Nitin Nabin visited Telangana, he would not bring even a single rupee. He mocked the visit by saying it would bring only “gadida guddu”.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the BJP and BRS shared an unspoken understanding. He urged voters to recognise this alliance. He called on people to vote wisely in the upcoming municipal elections.
