The project will be developed across 678 acres in phases and is expected to create 4,276 jobs. It will strengthen Hyundai’s engineering, research and vehicle-testing capabilities in Telangana.

During the meeting, Revanth Reddy assured the company of fast-tracked approvals and government support. He also pitched Telangana as a potential destination for Hyundai’s future car-manufacturing operations.

The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s central location, road, rail and air connectivity, dedicated mobility clusters and plans to improve access to ports. He said these advantages could support Hyundai’s plans to expand its operations.

Hyundai already has an engineering presence in Hyderabad. The proposed Zaheerabad facility could further strengthen Telangana’s position in the automobile and advanced engineering sectors.

For Revanth Reddy, attracting Hyundai’s manufacturing operations would be a significant addition to the state’s industrial ambitions. The immediate focus remains on moving the proposed R&D project forward while opening the door for further investment.
