Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy orchestrated a political maneuver, taking MLAs, MLCs, and others on a visit to the Medigadda project two months before the General Elections.
During this visit, Revanth Reddy arranged a Power Point Presentation in the Assembly for BRS MLAs, shedding light on the Krishna River issue and accusing KCR of compromising on Krishna water with YS Jagan.
Revanth Reddy had previously criticized the KCR government for irregularities in the Medigadda project when he was in the opposition, but his allegations were not taken seriously.
Now, with an opportunity to expose KCR on the Medigadda project, Revanth Reddy and other legislators were shocked to observe cracks in the pillars of the Medigadda barrage.
Legislators from various parties, except BRS and BJP MLAs, participated in the tour.
The visit to Medigadda revealed damaged pillars, with issues such as sagging and vertical splits.
Revanth Reddy used this opportunity to highlight what he claims to be poor construction and incomplete work on the Medigadda project.
The damaged pillars of the seventh block at the foundation of the barrage were examined.
First the sagging 20th pillar, the vertical split 21st pillar and the vertical split 22nd pillar were examined.
They were surprised to see water gushing from the 18th pillar foundation.
He criticized BRS for utilizing Kaleswaram for their campaign and accused them of wasting public money.
This move by Revanth Reddy is seen as an attempt to expose the relationship between BJP and BRS in the state.
