Ex minister Harish Rao has condemned the ways of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. Harish Rao said while Rahul Gandhi toured the country raising the slogan ‘mohabbat ki dukaan’, Revanth Reddy is like ‘nafrath ka makaan’, said the Siddipet MLA.
Harish Rao was addressing the Assembly where he said people of Telangana hoped for good governance when they voted for Indiramma rajyam. But the present Telangana government is showing them ‘Emergency’ times, he said.

Today the situation is such that the people are being coerced, curtailed and detained, just like Emergency times. The Congress had promised democratic rights as the seventh guarantee before being voted to power.
Already the six guarantees have been forgotten, but the seventh guarantee is crushing the people, said Harish Rao.

Arrests for questioning, lathicharge against unemployed youth who demand jobs, lockup for Banjaras who are fighting against setting up of pharma companies on their lands, arrests of Banjara farmers are the consequences.
They have even taken away the rights of Osmania University students to demonstrate, pointed out Harish Rao talking of the oppressive government of Revanth Reddy.

On the other hand, CM Revanth Reddy said at a meeting on Thursday that when he is allowing people to demonstrate at Dharna Chowk to keep up democracy and understand the issues of people, they are in turn doing dharnas against him.
