Revanth Reddy has become the Second Chief Minister of Telangana. Coming from the Telugu Desam Party, he relentlessly worked to bring Congress into power and finally achieved it. The High Command which usually does not support sudden growth also accepted Revanth Reddy and made him the Chief Minister.
Several Senior leaders in the party who were completely drowsy in the Opposition harbored hopes of becoming the Chief Minister after Congress won. The High Command gave them crucial portfolios but it looks like they are still not satisfied.
They are not supporting the Chief Minister as much as they should.
Speaking in the Assembly, KTR took a jibe against Revanth Reddy.
“Revanth Reddy is a classic example of చీమలు పెట్టిన పుట్టల్లో పాములు. Our Bhattanna, Sridharanna, Damodaranna, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy Anna, Prabhakar Anna, Uttamanna are Congress Party. Today he became the Chief Minister in that party. Revanth Reddy is not elected as the CM by the people of Telangana. He was nominated by a bunch of people in Delhi,” KTR said.
When KTR said that there was applause from the Opposition side in the expected lines but no one from the Ruling Party tried to stop him or condemn him.
This particular incident reveals the party seniors are not owning Revanth Reddy as much as they should.
Revanth Reddy should do something about it or the condition will slowly slip out of hands.
