Revanth Reddy Survey

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has got surveys done to understand people’s perception of current MLAs across the state.

Incidentally, it has emerged that people are unhappy with quite a few MLAs. Revanth Reddy had conducted surveys across parties, MLAs and ministers. But the outcome was less than satisfactory.

Party strategist Sunil Kanugolu and Revanth Reddy have conducted surveys to gauge people’s point of view of the Congress, BJP and BRS parties. They set out to find what people thought of sitting MLAs, if their graph went up or down.

After the survey, the talk in political circles is that Revanth Reddy has decided to take concrete measures at grassroots level.

Coming to BJP, the situation was really sad as per surveys. Six months back, the saffron party won 8 seats in parliamentary elections. The idea was that BJP had become a strong rival to the Congress.

But the surveys show that BJP has hit rock bottom and people found the leaders to be ineffective. The public felt the leaders were limited to press meets instead of pro-active action.

As for BRS, there were two reasons for public apathy for the party. People haven’t forgotten the 10-yr rule of BRS that still hurts them and secondly, KCR’s next to zero public presence.

After losing in polls, the opposition leader has been confined to his farmhouse and attended the Assembly once on budget presentation day.

Barring a couple of MLAs, the people disliked the working style of BRS MLAs and their high-handedness.

But Congress itself is not in a comfortable position either. There was negativity against 10 sitting MLAs and 2 ministers. Those in red were mostly new MLAs. There was common opinion that those with a negative graph indulged in realty matters, distanced themselves from people and failed to bring govt schemes to people.

It is said Revanth Reddy has decided to counsel the ministers and MLAs one to one.

Last, but definitely not the least, CM Revanth Reddy got good marks from people. However, they maintained that he must check how he speaks in public. While his graph rose, people were unhappy about delays in rythu bharosa. They were also keenly waiting for Asara scheme, the survey revealed.
