Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been targeting KCR and the BRS party ever since he came into power. He is luring BRS leaders to shift to Congress through Operation Akarsh.
Currently, several MLAs such as Danam Nagender and Kadiyam Srihari have switched from BRS to Congress. Notably, various other prominent BRS leaders have also shifted to Congress in the last few months.
Despite this, KCR seems to be not worried about the shifting of leaders. In yesterday’s press meet, he asserted that around 20 Congress MLAs are in touch with him and are planning a shift to BRS soon. KCR is trying to put up a brave face and play a mind game with Revanth Reddy.
On the other side, Revanth Reddy quickly counter-attacked KCR’s mind games. Today, Rajendranagar BRS MLA Prakash Goud met Revanth Reddy and is expected to join the Congress party very soon. He will be the second MLA from GHMC region to jump from BRS to Congress, after Danam.
Now, it has to be seen how KCR and his BRS brigade respond to Revanth’s tactics.
