Telangana is all set to welcome A Revanth Reddy, the current Telangana Pradesh Congress President, as the next Chief Minister.
As the news spread, celebrations erupted among Revanth Reddy’s supporters, both at his residence in Hyderabad and his hometown, Kondareddypally village, in Vangur mandal of Nagar Kurnool district.
Affectionately referred to as “Revanth Reddy Patela,” the villagers are overjoyed that their local leader has ascended to the position of Chief Minister.
They compare the happiness to that of having the eldest son of the family succeed. Villagers recount Revanth’s warm interactions during his visits, describing a close bond that goes beyond politics.
The pride of the villagers is palpable, as they emphasize Revanth’s roots in a farmer’s family and commend his journey from their community to the Chief Minister’s office. The village, once Konda Reddypalli, is now proudly declared as the “CM’s village” by its residents.
The jubilant atmosphere also reflects the broader significance of having a Chief Minister hailing from the Palamuru region after several decades.
Revanth Reddy’s journey to the Chief Minister’s post adds historical significance as he becomes the second Chief Minister from the Palamuru region, following Burgula Ramakrishna Rao.
The upcoming swearing-in ceremony, scheduled for the 7th of this month, is anticipated to host esteemed leaders such as Mallikharjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi.
