Former minister Roja is one of the main abusers of the political opponents of YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh. She had the reputation of firing on Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan very frequently when Jagan was the CM of Andhra Pradesh.
Very little portion of this was of actual political merit points, but the main intention of Roja was always to defame Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan at a personal and political level.
This was precisely by several TDP leaders felt Roja deserved to come under the radar of the AP Police department after the formation of the India government. They hope that she would be getting some kind of reprimand for all the earlier abuses and unnecessary provocations on Babu and Pawan.
However, Roja was able to get away without any significant action for a period of the last couple of years. But finally, she has come under the Police wing now as Chittoor Police gave her notice to appear for investigation on July 30.
This is in connection with a recent incident where Roja took to the streets along with YCP leaders and burned the Andhra Jyothi newspaper. An unnecessary scene was created and social unrest was instigated with this series of protests which became a concern then.
Along with Roja, former Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy also received notices to appear for investigation. A few YCP local leaders who created unnecessary seen that day are also under the spotlight now.
Roja had been unnecessarily provoking the TDP and Janina ecosystem to be in the good books of YCP top leadership, and it was always going to be a matter of time before she faced the repercussions. Now we have to see if this case will be consolidated enough to reprimand Roja.
