The Telangana Assembly proceedings are heated up every day with an intense war of words between Congress and BRS leaders.
Talking about the BRS’s complaint to the governor requesting the disqualification of MLAs who defected to Congress, cabinet minister Seethakka pointed out that the complaint letter was submitted by Sabitha Indra Reddy, who herself defected from Congress to BRS after winning on a Congress ticket.

Questioning BRS’s hypocrisy, Seethakka asked whether BRS leaders asked Congress MLAs to resign before joining their party.
Meanwhile, BRS MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy asked why she was being targeted by Congress leaders and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

“Why does he hold a grudge against me? I was the one who wholeheartedly welcomed him into Congress. I told him he would become a ray of hope, and even blessed him to become CM one day,” Sabitha stated.
Reacting to Sabitha’s comments, Revanth admitted that she had indeed welcomed him into the Congress party. “She brought up personal conversations in the assembly today. Since she mentioned it, I have to respond,” said Revanth.

Revanth recalled that when the Congress party requested him to run for the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 elections, Sabitha had promised to support him.
“But as soon as I got the ticket, she switched to the BRS party. To be on the ruling side, she joined BRS and became a minister,” Revanth explained.
Revanth asserted that Sabitha betrayed him by calling him her brother and that is the reason why he advised KTR not to trust her.
“I would ask her to wholeheartedly say if my comments are true or not,” Revanth questioned Sabitha in the assembly.
