Chandrababu Naidu’s name has appeared more frequently in YSRCP’s pro-media outlet, Sakshi, than even the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s, since its inception. In nearly every article, Sakshi has made deliberate attempts to tarnish Naidu’s image to the greatest extent possible.

Before the 2019 general elections, Sakshi’s controversial piece, “Naaraasura Raktacharitra,” on YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder caused significant damage to both the TDP and Naidu.

The public didn’t delve into the details of the article, but it became one of the reasons for TDP’s defeat in the 2019 elections. However, after five years, voters recognized the truth, and YSRCP faced a major loss in the 2024 elections.

Recently, both mainstream and social media have been reporting on the division of assets between YS Jagan and his sister YS Sharmila. Jagan reportedly wrote a letter to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) seeking the cancellation of a promised gift deed to his mother, to which Sharmila responded with a letter of her own.

Sakshi media, in its usual style, dragged Chandrababu Naidu into this issue and published a banner article against him. The piece insinuated that Naidu was behind Sharmila’s letter to Jagan.

However, upon closer examination, there is no specific mention of Naidu’s involvement in this matter. The article merely showed an image of Naidu behind Sharmila, trying to implicate him without any basis.

With no general elections approaching in Andhra Pradesh, Sakshi’s attempt to attack Naidu without reason seems futile. Jagan has been receiving criticism from all sides over this family dispute, and it appears that Sakshi published the article about Naidu in an attempt to deflect attention and shift the narrative.
