Actor Ali had been a very good friend of Pawan Kalyan for a really long time. They both have been together right from the early stages of their career. But the relationship fell through after Ali joined YSRCP. However, Ali had been trying not to rub Pawan on the wrong side just for the sake of politics.
While speaking with the media, Ali makes it a point that the interviewer doesn’t ask provocative questions about Pawan Kalyan. He conveys the same to the team beforehand.
But YCP’s mouthpiece, Sakshi makes it a point to make Ali speak against Pawan Kalyan. Here’s one such instance that proves that Sakshi tries to pit Ali against his long-time good friend, Pawan.
“Pawan recently made an issue of the Ippatam road widening and the subsequent demolishment of the properties there. What’s your response” Sakshi asked Ali. This question was avoidable as it was the occasion when Ali was taking charge as Electronic Media Advisor. There was no need for this political question there.
Ali’s response is also a very vague one “I feel it’s not right. It is development work. If there is development, there will be film shootings there. Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam shoots will happen there. Not right to speak against development works” Ali says.
Ali doesn’t fault Pawan or utter his name in response and goes on about something out of track. This shows that the provocative question by Sakshi makes him uncomfortable and he doesn’t intend to speak ill of Pawan. As it appears, Sakshi is trying to corner Ali with Pawan reference.
