Sasikala called for an Urgent Meeting with the Party MLAs as soon as the Verdict of Supreme Court came against her. After much deliberations, Sasikala’s loyalist and Minster, Edapadi Palanisamy is elected as the Leader of AIADMK Legislature Party.

In the same meeting, O Panneerselvam was expelled from the party’s Primary Membership. Palanisamy will meet the Governor CH Vidya Sagar Rao and lay stake to form the government. It has to be seen if the MLAs will accept Palanisamy.
On the other side, Police has surrounded the Golden Bay Resort and are likely to free the MLAs anytime. It has to be seen if they remain with Chinnamma or go back to Paneerselvam once they are freed as Sasikala will be going to jail to serve her Four Years Jail Term.
