YCP rebel MP Lavu Krishna Deva Rayulu left the party recently and he is all but confirmed to retain the Narasaraopeta MP ticket from TDP this time. But Lavu has revealed the nature of his exit from YCP and he gave an insight into what actually happened before he left the Jagan party.
“Jagan used to communicate through other MLAs and MPs that I should hold press meets and scold Chandrababu and other oppositional leaders to prove my loyalty to YCP. I didn’t like this one bit and that I why I decided to leave the party” Lavu said.
Lavu is an educated and new-generation leader and forcing him to do YCP mark politics of abusing the opposition leaders isn’t the wisest of things to do. As a result, YCP lost an able and young leader to TDP.
Lavu revealed that Jagan asked him to go to the Guntur MP segment and if I lost there, I would be sent to Rajya Sabha. I immediately told him I wouldn’t leave Narasaraopeta. Later, after Narasaraopeta MLAs went to meet Jagan, they came out and told me that I had to prove my loyalty to TDP by scolding Chandrababu. I questioned them what is the need for me to prove anything after the 5 years with YCP. I then decided it is time to leave that party.
