Sky Choppers Logistics Private Limited, a Chennai based company is going to start the seaplane services between Visakhapatnam-Amaravati and Kakinada-Amaravati with an investment around Rs.25crores.

The seaplane would land on the Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada, in Vizag near Bheemli and a creek near Harita Beach resorts in Kakinada. The first phase of the project would start in three months with one seaplane and another seaplane is in planning in six months. The price of ride will be around Rs. 3,000-Rs.3,500. This will be huge advantage to the businessman who can wrap the work in one day and come home.
Apart from the above, the firm also looking to introduce helicopter rides from Vuda Park on the Vizag beach to Kailasgiri and further be extend it to Vuda Park and Araku in the next phase.
