Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is flying to Delhi all of a sudden.
He will land in Delhi on July 4th and is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 5th and is also scheduled to meet Amit Shah and other Central Ministers.
This tour has come just before the Union Cabinet expansion that is likely next week.
There are speculations in some media houses that the BJP high command may join hands with TDP and the Cycle party may be even accommodated in Modi’s team.
Political circles are abuzz with the Chief Minister rushing to Delhi to foil the alliance somehow.
The Central Government helped YSR Congress in the 2019 elections by suffocating Chandrababu even though he is in power. Jagan wants similar cooperation in 2024 as well.
The CM in his speeches these days is repeatedly mentioning the Opposition to come alone indicating that he is worried a united opposition will defeat him.
BJP and YSR Congress are hand in glove right since the 2019 elections. The General public and TDP cadre are also not happy about the alliance with BJP. But Chandrababu is desperate for that ‘Central Government cooperation’.
