Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in Switzerland in a family holiday and will be back on 15th of this month. The holiday is suddenly planned out of no where but political sources say there is a strong political reason even behind this tour. Congress MP KVP Rama Chandra Rao’s Private Member Bill about AP Special Status will come up for voting on 13th of this month.

TDP, as the partner of NDA government, is not supposed to back the bill. But the bill is related to interests of Andhra Pradesh. Naidu will be in lot of problems if TDP did not vote in favour of the bill. Sources say TDP MPs will vote in favour of the bill and this tour of Naidu is planned so as for avoid the pressure from BJP.
Naidu will be back only two days after the voting is complete. On the other side, BJP is trying to conclude the session before 13th to make sure the bill do not come to vote. If the bill is passed in Rajya Sabha, it will be a huge embarassment for the ruling party. On the other side, TDP MPs say the party is yet to take a stand on the voting.
