Even though initially many people didn’t believe these rumours and claimed that they were just baseless, after Dhanush’s powerful speech hinting at his political entry at a fans’ event a few weeks ago, everyone is now awaiting updates regarding his entry into politics.
In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that Dhanush plans to enter politics in 2028 and will start his party work at that time, aiming to contest for the 2031 Tamil Nadu state elections.
Furthermore, there is also information that Dhanush has already registered his party’s name, which is reportedly Tamilaga Yezhuchi Kazhagam.
In response to these speculations, many Vijay fans on social media have already started trolling Dhanush, claiming that it seems like he is literally copying every single move of Vijay, as Vijay also started his political party just two to three years before the 2026 Tamil Nadu state elections. They also suggest that Dhanush’s rumoured party name is very similar to Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
Also, they feel that even if Dhanush copies everything Vijay did, he will not be able to achieve what Vijay achieved in his political debut, suggesting that Dhanush would be better off dropping the idea of entering politics and concentrating solely on his acting career.
