Yet another tragedy of selfie in Hyderabad. Two Intermediate first-year students from Narayana Junior College have drowned while having a photo shoot at a stone quarry pond near Gatkesar.

As it is a national holiday on Thursday, a group of students belonging to the same locality Tarnaka has planned a photo shoot and went to Gatkesar pond where the tragedy took place. The two young men entered the water while their friends on the land were taking pictures with a camera. The boys were also taking selfies in the water with their phones as reported by the security guard at the place.
The security guard said that he restrained the boys not to enter the water only to see the boys drown as they ignored the warning and got into the water from the other way around and did not come back. A case was filed on the incident and the bodies were sent for postmortem while the investigation is under process.
