In a breaking development, a sessions court in Kerala has accorded death penalty to 15 men in a single murder case. This is the first time in the history of Kerala that as many individuals got the death penalty in a single case.
This order is in connection with the murder of BJP leader and lawyer Ranjith Srinivasan who was murdered on December 19th, 2021.
The sessions court found 15 people guilty in the case in the final hearing on January 20 this year and the verdict was kept on reserve. Today, the verdict is announced and 15 guilty men in the case are sentenced to death.
The 15 individuals are named Nizam, Ajmal, Anoop, Md Aslam, Salam, Abdul Kalam, Safaruddin, Munshad, Jazeeb, Navaz, Shemir, Nazeer, Zakir Hussain, Shaji, Shamnaz.
Ranjith Srinivasan, a BJP OBC Morcha leader, was murdered brutally in front of his family members on the mentioned date and the 15 individuals are found guilty of the crime.
