Sharmila would call herself ‘Anna vadhilina Baanam’ during her Odarpu Yatras while Jagan is in jail. Now Jagan is planning to use the same Baanam on Telangana. He is planning to field YS Sharmila from Khammam Parliament. The party hopes this move will revive the party in Telangana.
They also hope that Sharmila have good chances of winning as Telangana feeling is relatively less there. Also the proposed alliance with CPM will brighten her chances there. Even if Sharmila loses, she will be heading the party in Telangana region thus will also eliminate two power centers in Seema Andhra region.
Sharmila is planning to tour Telangana with her mother Vijayamma once election notification is out. The controversial Bayyaram mines of Sharmila’s husband Anil Kumar are also present in Khammam. Sharmila’s winning from Khammam will also be safe for Anil too even if the new government in Telangana resorts to any cases or harrasent
