In a shocking incident, a group of six drunk youths created a massacre as a freaking accident caused by them has taken three lives, including one of their own.
Going into the story, the six intoxicated youth were traveling in a car from Sagarnagar to Endada. Their car lost control right in front of the Radisson hotel and hit a divider and then slipped to the other side of the road.
A couple that was traveling on a bike on the other side of the road took the brunt of the impact of this speeding and out of control car.
The young couple, Prudhvi(28) and Priyanka (21) died on the spot as they suffered severe injuries.
Another youth named Maniraj who was seated on the back of this speeding car also took serious injuries and he too died on the spot. Two others were gravely inured and they were shited to the hospital by the beach patrol police who first arrived on the spot.
Three other drunk youths have fled the spot and the police are tracking them down now. A case has been registered.
Of late, the number of cases of drink-and-drive road accidents have been on a rise in Vizag. There was recently the case of a drunk woman wrecking 8 vehicles in the VIP road in Vizag. Netizens are pushing authorities to stern action in this regard.
