Vinutha Kota- Bojjala Sudhir Issue: CBN Must Immediately Focus!

Srikalahasti political controversy case

Srikalahasti Janasena incharge Vinutha Kota and her husband were arrested in connection with the murder of their driver, Rayudu. They spent 19 days in jail before being released on bail.

According to the FIR filed by the Chennai Police, the couple was accused of murdering Rayudu and dumping his body in Chennai. Police said they obtained confessions from both during the remand process.

Following the arrest, Pawan Kalyan immediately suspended the couple from the Janasena Party.

Soon after, rumours spread about the involvement of TDP MLA Bojjala Sudhir Reddy from Srikalahasti. Vinutha alleged that Reddy used the driver to spy on her and damage her political image. She called the case politically motivated and claimed Reddy’s role would soon come to light.

Sections of the media earlier reported that Reddy had used the driver to collect objectionable videos and recordings of Vinutha. However, Sudhir Reddy denied all allegations. He called the murder a personal matter, unrelated to politics or the TDP-Janasena alliance. He even visited a temple to swear his innocence and urged everyone not to politicize the case.

The case took a dramatic turn when a video of Rayudu surfaced much later. In it, Rayudu reportedly claimed that the MLA paid him to record Vinutha and gather information about her.

Bojjala Sudhir Reddy and Vinutha Kota were political rivals in Srikalahasti even before the TDP-Janasena alliance. Their differences may have intensified during that period, eventually leading to a major controversy involving personal allegations and a murder.

Chandrababu Naidu is now expected to look into the issue, as it could create mistrust between the TDP and Janasena. If the reports about the alleged videos are proven true, the issue might escalate statewide.

The party leadership must investigate the case thoroughly and take action if any wrongdoing by the MLA is confirmed. A clear response will strengthen public trust and preserve the alliance between TDP and Janasena.
