Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was recently shaken up by the stone pelting incident as a part of which he injured his eyebrow after a miscreant threw a stone at him. Telugu Desam and Janasena instantly opposed this incident by saying it looked like a staged incident by YCP to gain sympathy before the polls.
The saga has taken an interesting turn now as a case has been filed at Vijayawada Junior Civil Judge court. A man named Matta Arun Babu has filed a petition with the court saying Jagan is trying to gain sympathy through this stone incident and likened it to the Kodi Katthi incident before the 2019 election.
Upon the investigation, the court sent notices to the defendants in the case, Jagan Mohan Reddy, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Vellampalli Srinivas, Kodali Nani, and Perni Nani.
The complaint is that YCP is using such incidents not just to gain sympathy but also to push the blame on TDP and JSP before the polls in a bid to attempt and influence the voters. Now that Jagan and co. have been named as the defendants in the case, it shall be seen how the court will proceed with the investigation.
