It is known to our readers that the Telangana Government had announced a Salary Hike to the Frontline workers like the Sanitation and medical staff. However, contract employees and outsourcing employees at Gandhi Hospital were not satisfied with the 10% hike they are offered.
They sat in a Dharna at Gandhi Hospital saying that they are not satisfied with the hike Telangana Government announced. They say the hike on their meager salaries doesn’t equate with the life risk. They handle all cleaning and disposing of work where risk is high.
All the Coronavirus patients across Telangana are being transported to Secunderabad and are being treated in Gandhi Hospital. As per the update released last night, Telangana has recorded 453 cases. Wednesday alone there were 49 cases in Telangana.
On the other side, Telangana government has identified 12 containment clusters in the Hyderabad district where the cases are high.
