With the coming general elections not too far from now, the leading national parties have started the gameplan for the same. The opposition troops have formed a new alliance which has been named INDIA and the ruling party BJP is looking to strengthen the NDA clan.
Coming to the topic, in a new survey report from ABP Media in association with C Voter, it is determined that the public is still by Modi’s side.
When asked who they’re picking for the next prime ministerial post in India, 57% of the public voted for Modi while Rahul Gandhi polled just 18%. Rahul’s popularity appears to have sunk further after seeing these survey results.
68% believe that the INDIA alliance cannot defeat NDA while 17% believe it can. 13% are not sure.
Also, Modi has been named as the best prime minister of India after the independence and he polled 47% votes in this category, while the next best is Vajpayi with 16%.
These numbers clearly imply that the NDA is set to retain power again for the third consecutive time. But again, the actual mood of the public will be determined only once the actual elections fever sets in and the results are out.
