Very soon after the 2014 elections, it was clear that TDP and BJP may be heading towards climax any time. The relation got more complicated as a section of BJP leaders tried to distance both the parties and the Center only tried to escape from the commitments made to the state. While everyone is expecting a divorce, both the parties have come on the same page with the Special Package.

Finding no way out and with an intention of not to mess with the center, Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the Package and now both the parties are trying to convince the people with the package. Experts see that both the parties have mended the differences and decided to sail together going further with an intention of not to mess things unnecessarily and give a chance to other parties.
Accordingly, the HUDCO loan to Polavaram is also being cleared on a high priority basis. If the project gets to have 8000 Crore per year as being said, the anger on the BJP will be pacified to a great extent in Andhra Pradesh. Probably, announcing the Vishakapatnam Railway Zone ahead of the Municipal Elections will normalize the things.
We have already seen the anti-TDP faction in BJP suddenly got silenced from the day the Package is announced. Despite Congress and YSR Congress trying to take the Special Status movement into the people, there is no much effect seen. Railway Zone announcement may bring things to normal and would also ensure favourable result in the local elections.
