Telugu Desam Party’s Membership Drive is getting sensational response in Andhra Pradesh. The response is good in Telangana as well despite the party out of power for twenty years and is battered by the defections engineered by KCR.
The Membership response indicates the party cadre is in tact despite the leaders deserting the party.

Chandrababu Naidu also had a couple of meetings in Hyderabad in the last six months and claimed he would revive the party there.
The first test for TDP would be the upcoming GHMC elections.

Thanks to the Andhra Pradesh settlers, TDP has a strong presence in the Kukatpally, Jubilee Hills, LB Nagar, Sherlingampally, Rajendra Nagar, and Sanath Nagar areas.
The Grand Victory in Andhra Pradesh will have a multiplier effect on the party in Telangana if steered in the right direction.

In Andhra Pradesh, the TDP is in alliance with the BJP and Janasena. Also, the Telangana Card has already expired in state politics.
They can be a formidable force if they contest together.
In the last GHMC elections, the BJP did not allow Janasena to contest despite having an alliance. But if the party is accommodative, the alliance that emerged victorious in 2024 in Andhra Pradesh can make an impact.
In the Assembly elections of Telangana, TDP voters voted en-masse to Congress. An alliance with TDP can dent that vote bank and BJP can benefit.
If they try to take support and do not give seats to the TDP, the vote transfer will not happen.
If the BJP and the alliance win GHMC, it will bring a big change in the state politics.
