
YSR Congress drew a blank in eight erstwhile districts of Andhra Pradesh in the recent elections.
Except for two agency seats of Araku and Paderu, the YSR Congress did not win a single seat from Srikakulam to Guntur.

Naidu will have a tough time finalizing his cabinet this time with so many winnings. He also has to accommodate Janasena and the BJP. And then, there are leaders who fought in the Opposition and there are leaders who registered remarkable victories.
It is a clean sweep in 16 seats of Krishna district and 17 seats of Guntur district. Both Krishna and Guntur are traditionally strong for Telugu Desam and with Amaravati, back in the game as the Capital, these two districts are the capital area districts.

So, there is a huge demand for cabinet berths in the party.
From Krishna district, Bode Prasad, Bonda Uma, Kollu Ravindra, and Gadde Ram Mohan are expecting a berth in the Seniority quota.

There are rumors that Venigandla Ramu who emerged as a Giant Killer defeating Kodali Nani is also in the race for a berth.
Kamineni Srinivas and Sujana Chowdary are expecting one in BJP quota. But Ramu has the advantage of caste combination (Kamma and wife being SC).
His supporters are saying that he should be strengthened to make Gudivada a fortress for TDP and to keep Kodali Nani out forever.
In the Guntur district, Lokesh will be the natural choice if he wants to be in the cabinet.
Senior leader Dhulipalla Narendra is hoping to get a berth given that it is due for a long time and also, he suffered a lot in the previous Government.
Nakka Anand Babu is also trying in SC quota. Prathipati Pulla Rao who was in the cabinet between 2014 and 2019 may not get a chance this time.
Anagani Satya Prasad who completed a hattrick from Repalle is also in the race.
Pawan Kalyan may refer to Nadendla Manohar’s name and in such case, the other Kamma leaders of the district may find it difficult if the caste equations are followed seriously.
Julakanti Brahmananda Reddy who fought the tyranny of Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy in Macherla won with over 33,000 votes majority. Cadre believes that he should be empowered in the constituency like the case of Ramu in Gudivada.
