Telugu Desam Party released the third list of the candidates for eleven Assembly segments and Thirteen Parliament segments. With this, only five assembly segments and four MP segments are to be announced.
In this list, TDP had taken a decision about some key seats that were pending.
Chandrababu decided to go with Bode Prasad in Penamaluru after so much drama.
Senior leader Somireddy Chandrasekhar Reddy was given one more chance from Sarvepalli even though he won three elections on a trot.
A decision was also taken on Mylavaram. Vasantha Krishna Prasad who defected from YSR Congress will replace Former Minister Devineni Uma here.
Gouthu Sirisha (Palasa) and Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao (Kakinada City) were given another opportunity. Narasaraopeta went to Dr Chadalavada Aravind Babu.
Coming to the MP seats, this is the first time MP candidates were announced.
The suspense over Vishakapatnam Parliament seats is over. TDP retained the seat even though BJP is after it and Balakrishna’s SIL Bharat will contest from here.
Kesineni Chinni is confirmed for Vijayawada and Hindupur which is rumored to be going to BJP is also confirmed for TDP. Senior leader BK Parthasarathy will be the candidate here.
Yanamala’s son-in-law Putta Mahesh Yadav is the candidate for Eluru Parliament.
Pemmasani Chandrasekhar is confirmed for Guntur and Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu retains his Srikakulam.
Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu who defected from YSR Congress gets his Narasaraopeta seat.
Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and Byreddy Sabari will contest for Nellore and Nandhyal respectively.
Late GMC Balayogi’s son Harish Mathur is contesting from Amalapuram Parliament once again.
