The Congress Party had taken disciplinary action against MLC Teenmaar Mallanna. The Party’s Disciplinary Committee had suspended him from the party for getting involved in anti-party activities.
Meanwhile, there are reports all of sudden on social media that Teenmaar Mallanna may join the Telangana TDP and be made the Party President.
This is very unlikely but if it happens, it may be the worst possible decision by Chandrababu Naidu.
TDP in Telangana has been neglected for so long by Babu. In the past few months, there were some News Reports randomly that Naidu wanted to resurrect the party but then, there was no visible effort on the ground.
TDP definitely needs a prominent face to lead but then, the party needs someone who can hit the ground and also with an inclusive mindset.
No one can be a leader when he puts himself above the party.
Teenmaar Mallanna definitely does not fit the bill.
Moreover, he comes with a lot of nuisance value.
We have seen how Revanth Reddy encouraged him by making him an MLC and is now paying the price.
Why would Chandrababu want that to happen to himself and the already troubles-riddled party?
Ever since the state bifurcation, Chandrababu always struggled to put in a proper leader in the TTDP President Position.
L Ramana, Bakkani Narasimulu, and Kasani Gnaneshwar – all have been appointed without any vision and planning.
L Ramana and Kasani dumped the party and moved towards green pastures.
The party has been without a President since 2022 and did not contest the 2023 Assembly elections and 2024 Parliament Elections.
The next appointment should at least give some hope to the party cadres and sympathizers.
