TelanganaBJPThe Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Telangana general elections, set to be held on November 30th. Political parties have barely 50 days to campaign. The BJP proudly announced that the party had received 6,000 applications from people wanting to contest in the elections. However, the reality is quite different from this assumption. In most of the segments, the BJP is struggling to find suitable candidates.

This has led the BJP High Command to order all senior leaders to contest in the Assembly elections, including Bandi Sanjay, Kishan Reddy, Aravind, DK, and Jithender, who have applied for MLA tickets.

On the other hand, leaders like Vijayasanthi, Vivek, Komatireddy, and Konda Vishweswara Reddy have refused to contest as MLA nominees. These leaders have not attended recent meetings with Modi and Amit Shah. Regardless of their chances of coming to power in the state, the BJP finds itself in a situation where it must find candidates to contest in all 119 seats.
