Looking at Telangana politics, one is bound to wonder if the governance is in the hands of BJP in the state. The reasons are obvious. Revanth Reddy has said in the past that Prime Minister Modi was like a bada bhai (big brother).
He said this before the Parliamentary elections and endorsement of Modi as the PM by Revanth Reddy raised many eyebrows at the time. In fact, the BJP leaders have said on many occassions that Revanth Reddy supported 8 BJP members to win in Parliamentary elections in Telangana.

In fact Revanth Reddy has gone to the extent of saying that Kishan Reddy is the one stopping funds from the Center. Revanth Reddy has never spoken harshly about BJP till date.
It is widely known that Modi does not give monies to the southern states as all of them are ruled by other/ or regional parties. Still, Revanth Reddy leaves no occassion to badmouth Kishan Reddy blaming him for stopping the Central funds.

In neighbouring Karnataka, the Congress leaders and CM are fighting for funds from the Center, but here in Telangana, Revanth Reddy plays the same tape over and over saying Modi is a good man.
Usually, it has been noticed that BJP uses the Governor in non-BJP ruling states to meddle with local politics. In the case of Telangana, one can see no such interference.

Even the national media wonders if it is Congress government that is in power in Telangana. Though Modi made strong comments regarding the Kancha Gachibowli lands, nothing was said from the state government’s side. Minister Sridhar Reddy went to the extent of saying that Modi was misguided by others in the issue.
So is the case of National Herald, where ED attached properties of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Once again Revanth Reddy chose to remain quiet instead of saying anything against Modi. He even went away to Japan to escape making comments.
Seeing all this, it is rather clear that Telangana Congress is in the hands of PM Narendra Modi or so it appears.
