Reports are emerging that Nalgonda MLA, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is likely to join Telangana Rashtra Samiti before June 10th. It is also said that three other Congress MLAs will also join TRS along with him. More than losing four MLAs, the main opposition party will be more hurt for other reason.

Komatireddy is a big fund raiser for Congress in Telangana with his extensive contacts. Komatireddy will cripple the main opposition party in the newest state of the country and make it dependent on the Congress high command. After emptying TDP (TS) and YSR Congress, TRS had shifted its focus on to Congress.
Komatireddy is currently in US and will sit with KCR on 5th of this month for further negotiations. The party even though is the second largest party in Telangana, is suffering from severe leadership crisis. With this back to back defections, the party is being further dented.
